Pearson's Use of Weather
Full description
As Pearson's diary progresses, we see less discussion of weather even when he has little to write -- something that is shown in this Voyant text analysis of his usage of the word. Voyant is a tool that allows us to analyze the words used throughout a text so we can see the frequency in which they occur. Through this text analysis, we can see that by 1832, he has almost completely stopped using the word 'weather'. In this entry, he discusses his longing to study and mental state rather than simply stating "moderate weather" as he may have done in 1828 when he was younger.
